I grew up in a huge Mexican family and catholicism played a huge part in my upbringing. When I was younger I didn't enjoy going to church but that's because it never made sense to me. As I got older though and actually learned to listen and pay attention to what was being read and said, everything started to click. I am who I am because I was "forced" to go to church every Sunday and I'm proud of the person I've become. I'm not perfect and I know there is still a lot I have to learn but I like to think of myself as a work in progress.
